We want every fact on Top10at to be right. When one is not, this is what we do.
How to report an error
Use the address below. Name the article and the statement, and point us to the correct information if you can.
What happens next
- We check the report against primary sources.
- If the article is wrong, we correct the text and the company or location record it draws on, so every page that uses that fact is fixed.
- We add a dated correction note at the end of the article saying what changed. Spelling and formatting fixes are made without a note.
- If the error affected a ranking, we re-rank and say so.
How we check facts
A reviewer compares each factual statement with the sources listed in the article, confirms that figures match their stated date, and confirms that a ranking follows its stated metric. The reviewer then signs the article off, and the article shows their name and the date. Until then an article carries no fact-check line.
Outdated information
Each article records when its facts were last verified. Articles that pass their review date are queued for re-checking. If you find information that has gone out of date, tell us.
